Before connecting a robot, make a simple map of the arrangement: where the account sits, who holds the funds and what the software is allowed to do. These are separate questions, even when a setup screen presents them together.
Identify the account first
Write down the account provider and the organisation responsible for custody. Then identify the agreement governing access and withdrawals. A product name alone does not explain those responsibilities.
Ask which tasks are handled by the software team and which belong to the account provider. Knowing the right contact matters when an account is restricted or an order needs attention.
Read each permission
If the setup uses an API connection, request the exact permissions and why each is needed. If it uses another method, ask for the equivalent explanation. Do not assume a general article describes the connection method used by TRX Swap.
A wallet’s private key is particularly sensitive: Coinbase explains that it enables control of crypto funds. Never put private keys, recovery phrases or account passwords in this website’s registration or contact forms.
Plan the exit before activation
Ask how to pause activity, revoke access and check the account afterwards. Establish separately what happens to open orders and positions. Disconnecting software and closing a position are different actions; the service documentation should explain both.
Keep a copy of the permission settings and relevant support details. For TRX Swap, check the connection and pause procedures on How it works against the product agreement before granting access. Registration is the beginning of the process, not permission for the website to trade on your behalf.
